CMP Phase 1:

Open House Announcement
To support the growth of the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) and Durham College (DC), the institutions are working together on a campus master plan that will provide opportunities for our shared campus in Oshawa as well as UOIT's downtown Oshawa location and DC’s Whitby campus.

This plan is designed to address the future expansion and needs of both institutions. The goal is to have a campus master plan, with input from the local community, completed by October 2014. To begin to facilitate this process, a campus master planning open house will be held on:

Wednesday, January 29, 2014
3 to 5 p.m.
Gordon Willey Building, Dining Room, G213

The open house will include a brief presentation at 3:45 p.m. as well as provide you with the opportunity to view the:
• planning to date including the Vision and Principles of the campus master planning initiative
• framework plan of potential development
• key findings and recommendations to date

This master plan will guide our commitment to building smart, modern and community-focused university and college campuses based in the principles of walkability, active transportation, respect for the natural environment, sustainability, and efficient and innovative use of assets and resources.

DC and UOIT look forward to hearing your ideas, comments and perspectives.
